docuzer — FAQs

50 frequently asked questions

Friendly answers in plain English — no tech jargon.

Q1. What is docuzer?

docuzer is your AI assistant for everyday document work — chat, drafting, summaries, reviews, and exports. If you read, write, or review files for work or study, you're in the right place.

Q2. Is docuzer free?

docuzer offers a one-time Welcome Trial for new accounts with daily limits. When that ends, please choose a subscription or add-on from the menu under Subscription to keep going.

Q3. Do I need internet?

Yes — sign-in, chat, and uploads all need a working connection. The good news is that Time-off mini-games still work offline if you need a break.

Q4. How do I sign up?

On the welcome screen, tap Continue with Google or Continue with Email and follow the prompts. Adding a phone number is optional when you set up your profile.

Q5. The app is slow to load — what can I do?

While delay is not expected with docuzer, there could be multiple external factors causing this. Please check that mobile data or Wi‑Fi is on and connected. A quick restart of the app often helps too.

Q6. Can I use docuzer on phone and tablet together?

Yes — you can stay signed in on up to three devices at the same time, so switching between phone and tablet is fine.

Q7. How do I sign out another device?

Go to Settings, then Active devices, and tap Sign out on the device you no longer use.

Q8. Why did another device get signed out on its own?

We allow three active devices per account. If you sign in on a fourth, the oldest session may be signed out automatically.

Q9. What profile roles are available?

You can choose Student, Lawyer, Researcher, Sales Team, Teacher, Analyst, or Other when setting up your profile.

Q10. Role-based vs General — which should I use?

Role-based answers match your profile role, which is helpful for legal, teaching, and similar work. General stays neutral. Please switch in My Profile → Preferences — not above the chat box.

Q11. Can the AI be wrong?

Yes, sometimes. AI can miss facts or nuance, so please double-check numbers, dates, and legal wording before you act on anything important.

Q12. Is this legal or medical advice?

No. docuzer is a productivity tool, not a licensed professional. Always consult a qualified expert when it matters.

Q13. What can I upload?

You can upload PDFs, Word files, text, CSV, spreadsheets, slides, and images — either tap Attach in chat or Share into docuzer from another app.

Q14. Is there an upload limit?

Yes — your daily allowance is shown when you open the menu, go to My Profile, and expand My Plan. Large files work best on stable Wi‑Fi.

Q15. Why is my upload taking so long?

Big files and slow networks need more time. Watch the progress overlay, and please try Wi‑Fi if you're on a weak signal.

Q16. Can I upload several files in one chat?

Absolutely. Once they're ready, you can compare, summarize, or ask about them together in the same conversation.

Q17. What is cross-reference my chats?

It's an optional setting in My Profile. When it's ON, you can refer to another chat by name in a new conversation. When OFF, chats stay separate. For example, you can ask docuzer to read or analyse a chat from your Chat History.

Q18. Who can see my chats?

Only you, through your account. See our Privacy Policy for how data is stored and handled.

Q19. How do I delete a chat?

Open Chat History, tap the ⋮ menu on the row, choose Delete, and confirm when asked.

Q20. Can I undo a delete?

Sorry — no. Once deletion finishes, it's permanent and cannot be recovered.

Q21. How do I save a chat outside the app?

Export the chat as a PDF from the chat screen or from Chat History, then save or share it from your phone's share sheet.

Q22. What download formats exist?

You can download a full chat PDF; a single-reply PDF or CSV; and documents as DOCX, PDF, or CSV when those buttons appear on a reply.

Q23. Where is Chat History?

Open the menu (☰) from chat and tap Chat History. You'll see all your past conversations there.

Q24. Why is my chat called "New chat"?

That's the default name until you rename it yourself or send enough messages for docuzer to suggest an automatic title.

Q25. How do I rename a chat?

While you're in the chat, use the pencil icon in the top bar. From Chat History, tap the ⋮ menu on the row and choose Rename.

Q26. What is the Welcome Trial?

It's a one-time starter period for new accounts, with daily character and upload limits shown when you expand My Plan in your profile.

Q27. How do I pay for a plan?

Open the menu, go to Subscription, pick a plan, tap BUY NOW, and complete checkout in the app. Payment options at checkout may include cards, UPI, wallets, or Google Play Billing on Android when live — we don't tie ourselves to one brand.

Q28. What are add-ons?

Add-ons are extra features or capacity you buy separately under Subscription → Addons. They stay valid until your current plan expires.

Q29. Where are my daily limits shown?

Open the menu, go to My Profile, and expand My Plan. You'll see characters used and remaining today, your daily cap, uploads left, and your valid-until date.

Q30. My plan expired — now what?

Subscriptions do not auto-renew. Please buy a plan again under Menu → Subscription when you're ready. If you stay inactive for a long time, old chats may be removed per policy — renewing helps protect your work.

Q31. What payment methods are accepted?

Whatever secure options appear at checkout in your region — for example cards, UPI, wallets, or Google Play Billing on Android when available. We partner with trusted payment providers rather than locking you to one name.

Q32. How do refunds work?

Payments are non-refundable once processed, except where the law requires a refund or we approve one at our discretion. There is no automatic seven-day refund window. Please use our Contact form (Billing topic) with your purchase details — we’ll review per our Terms and consumer law.

Q33. Can I get an invoice?

Yes — please use our Contact form (Billing topic) with your registered email and payment reference.

Q34. How do I turn notifications on or off?

Go to Settings and toggle Push notifications. Also allow docuzer in your phone's system notification settings when prompted. While you're there, you can turn Mute message reply tone on or off if you prefer silence when sending.

Q35. How do I make text bigger?

Go to Settings, open the Font Size slider, and drag until the text feels comfortable for you.

Q36. Can I change the font?

Yes — in Settings you can pick Default, Comic Neue, or Roboto.

Q37. What are Time-off games?

They're optional mini-games under Menu → Time-off — handy for a short break. They work offline too.

Q38. Why am I offline in the app?

Usually there's no usable internet connection. Fix your connection to chat again; Time-off games still work while you wait.

Q39. My message failed — why?

Often it's connection-related. Please retry on Wi‑Fi. Very long requests may time out — try breaking them into smaller asks.

Q40. What does Stop response do?

It stops docuzer mid-reply so you can send something new right away instead of waiting for the rest.

Q41. What are the chips under AI replies?

They're suggested follow-up questions — tap one to send it instantly without retyping.

Q42. Can I reply to just one message?

Yes — long-press the message, tap Reply, and type your follow-up. Tap X on the reply bar to cancel.

Q43. What is risk or red-flag review?

It highlights possible concerns in uploads. Helpful guidance only — not a formal legal review.

Q44. Can docuzer make charts?

Yes, when your plan supports it. Describe the chart clearly — the more precise you are, the better the result.

Q45. What is Provide details?

It's a short form (document type, names, dates, and so on) so docuzer can draft more accurately for you.

Q46. Can I edit a generated document?

Yes — use Edit sections when a draft is active in that chat.

Q47. Why so many questions before my draft?

Better details mean a better draft. Please answer in short numbered lines — it'll save time later.

Q48. Can I switch to a cheaper plan mid-term?

Not mid-term — please use your current plan until it expires, then choose a different one when you renew.

Q49. Does docuzer use my GPS location?

No GPS tracking for country or city — you type those yourself. Time zone is used only to help with notification timing.

Q50. How do I get help or delete my account?

Open the menu and go to Help & Support for How-tos, FAQs, Terms, Privacy, and Contact. For billing, use Contact (Billing topic). To request account deletion, use Contact (Account Deletion topic) or Help → Contact. You can also reach us via our Contact form.
