50 step-by-step guides for docuzer
Plain-language help — what to tap and what to expect. Open the menu (☰) from chat to reach Profile, Subscription, Chat History, Help, Settings, Time-off, and Logout.
PART 1 — SIGN IN & PROFILE (1–6)
1. Sign in for the first time
Open docuzer → Continue with Google (pick account) OR Continue with Email (enter email + password) → you need working internet.
2. Read Terms and Privacy before you join
On the welcome screen, tap Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policies → read → Close.
3. Complete the short profile setup
Step 1: name, phone (optional), country, city (required for India) → Next. Step 2: pick your role → Next. Step 3: read welcome trial message → Start chat.
4. Update your name, phone, country, or city later
Menu (☰) → My Profile → edit fields → Save.
5. Change your professional role
My Profile → My role → choose Student, Lawyer, Teacher, Sales Team, Researcher, Analyst, or Other → Save.
6. Sign in when you were offline
Connect Wi‑Fi or mobile data first. When online, try again — you may see "Back online — you can sign in now."
PART 2 — CHAT BASICS (7–19)
7. Send a message
Type in "Ask docuzer…" at the bottom → tap Send → wait for the reply.
8. Choose Role-based or General answers
Use the toggle above the message box. Role-based fits your profile role; General stays neutral. Switch anytime before sending.
9. Stop a long reply
Tap Stop response while docuzer is still writing.
10. Use suggested question chips
After a reply, tap a chip under the message to send that follow-up instantly.
11. Use starter shortcuts on a new chat
On an empty chat, tap chips like "Draft a document" or "Summarize uploaded PDF." Some need a file or topic first.
12. Reply to one specific message
Long-press the message → Reply → type your follow-up. Tap X on the reply bar to cancel.
13. Copy message text
Long-press → Copy text.
14. Jump to a message you replied to
Tap the quoted line in a reply — chat scrolls to the original.
15. Search inside this chat
Top bar → search icon → type words → use next/previous if there are many matches.
16. Rename this chat
Top bar → pencil/rename icon → new name → Save.
17. Start a new chat
Top bar → new chat icon. Old chats stay in Chat History.
18. Export the full chat as PDF
Top bar → export PDF icon → share or save from your phone's share sheet.
19. Understand the AI disclaimer
AI can make mistakes. Always verify important legal, financial, or official content before you use or share it.
PART 3 — FILES & DOCUMENTS (20–38)
20. Attach a document or file
Attach icon → Files → pick PDF, Word, text, CSV, slides, or images → wait for upload to finish.
21. Attach photos from gallery
Attach → Photos / gallery → select pictures → confirm.
22. Take a photo with the camera
Attach → Camera → shoot → crop if asked → Done or Add another.
23. Share a file into docuzer from another app
In WhatsApp, email, or Files → Share → docuzer → add your question in docuzer.
24. Cancel an upload in progress
Tap Cancel on the upload progress overlay.
25. Work with multiple uploaded files
After all are ready, use chips like Compare files, Summarize each file, Risk detection, or describe what you want and name the files.
26. Summarize a document
Upload → wait for analysis → ask "Summarize in bullet points" or tap Summarize.
27. Compare two documents
Upload both → Compare files chip or ask what to compare (dates, amounts, clauses).
28. Request a risk or red-flag style review
Upload → Risk detection or ask docuzer to highlight concerns. This is guidance only — not professional legal advice.
29. Get tables as a spreadsheet (CSV)
Use Download CSV on the reply or ask to export tables from the file.
30. Draft a new document
Ask clearly what you need (letter, NDA, proposal, etc.) or use Smart Document / starter chips when shown. Answer follow-up questions docuzer asks.
31. Fill in the "Provide details" form
Tap Provide details → choose document type → fill fields → submit.
32. Edit sections of a generated draft
Use Edit sections when available → change section title or body → save. You need a draft in this chat first.
33. Download finished work as Word (DOCX)
Tap Download DOCX on the document reply → save via share sheet.
34. Download finished work as PDF
Tap Download PDF → save or share.
35. Download table data as CSV
Tap Download CSV or Export this reply as CSV from the message actions.
36. Share a single reply (not the whole chat)
Message actions → Share reply, or export that reply as PDF/CSV.
37. Open a web link from a reply
Tap the link → if asked to leave docuzer, tap Continue for browser or Cancel to stay.
38. View an image full screen
Tap the image → pinch to zoom → close when done.
PART 4 — CHAT HISTORY (39–44)
39. Open Chat History
Menu → Chat History → tap a chat to reopen it.
40. Rename a chat from history
⋮ menu on the row → Rename → Save.
41. Export one chat as PDF from history
⋮ → Export Chat.
42. Delete one chat forever
⋮ → Delete → confirm. Cannot be undone.
43. Delete many chats at once
Check boxes → Delete → confirm → wait for progress bar to finish.
44. Copy a chat title
⋮ → Copy.
PART 5 — PLAN & SUBSCRIPTIONS (45–49)
45. Check your plan and daily limits
My Profile → My Plan: plan name, expiry, characters left, upload left, features.
46. Buy or upgrade a subscription
Menu → Subscription → swipe plan cards → BUY NOW → complete checkout payment.
47. Buy an add-on
Subscription → Addons tab → swipe → select → pay and activate.
48. Understand the Welcome Trial
New accounts may get a one-time trial with daily limits. Shown in My Plan. Upgrade before or when it ends to keep full access.
49. What if my plan expired?
A banner may appear in chat. Upgrade via Subscription. After a long time without a plan, old chats may be removed — renew to protect your work.
PART 6 — SETTINGS, DEVICES & EXTRAS (50)
50. Settings, devices, notifications, games, help, and logout
Notifications: Settings → Push notifications on/off (allow when phone prompts).
Text size: Settings → Font Size slider.
Font style: Settings → Default, Comic Neue, or Roboto.
Other logged in devices: Settings → Active devices → Sign out on phones you no longer use (max 3 devices allowed; this phone shows as "Current").
Cross-chat memory: My Profile → Cross-reference my chats — ON lets you refer to another chat by name; OFF keeps chats separate.
Mini-games: Menu → Time-off → pick Chess, X-O-X, Candy, Break Em, Chirpy, or Quiet counter — handy when offline or waiting.
Help: Menu → Help & Support → FAQs, About, Terms, Privacy, Contact.
